May 6, 2008: "Brad Makarowski (Dick) and Deanna Gibson (Jane) are so exact in their portrayals of a young couple from Queens one feels as though they've gone back in time to post-JFK America. We're given a first-hand glimpse of the world on the eve of a turbulent transformation...Their relationship is undeniably true and innocent." ~ Jason S. Grossman, nytheatre.com

March  23, 2008: Doubt  closed today to rave reviews.
"Deanna Gibson is all ticks and twitches as the bewildered Sister James, without coming off as cute. Gibson uses the Bronx dialect to her advantage by portraying Sister James as an understanding angel's advocate, but at the end, she empowers James with a mind of her own." ~ Southern Florida; Kevin Johnson
On DOUBT"Deanna Gibson, so wonderful in last year's "Blithe Spirit," plays Sister James with a combination of wide-eyed innocence and guile-less faith..."Doubt: A Parable"...is something of a religious experience. It will confirm your belief in live theater." ~ Bill DeYoung, TCPalmEntertainment
